About Me
Meet Rachel
Hi! I grew up in Alaska and went on to attend college in the North Country of New York where I played collegiate volleyball for four years. It was there that I discovered climbing and my outdoor passion grew. I transitioned into becoming a trail runner & outdoor athlete post-graduation. I have worked seasonally as a glacier ice climbing & hiking guide in Seward, AK for nine years. While attending grad school in Bozeman, MT, I adopted skimo as my new winter sport. My graduate research focused on carbohydrate intake during skimo racing.
